hope everybody had a merry christmas!
oh no...
Up till 10:00 last night, I was certain that I’d be buying myself an iMac this Christmas. Then I decided to read up on whether the glossy screen would interfere with photo-editing.
It does.
Apparently, it makes calibration close-to-impossible, can be very annoying with certain light sources, and oversaturates the colours so that they look nothing like what you’ll get on prints.
...
Amen.
There has been only one Christmas - the rest are anniversaries.

my favorite paragraph from Les Miserables.
One day he [the Bishop] arrived at Senez, which is an ancient episcopal city. He was mounted on a donkey. His purse, which was very dry at that moment, did not permit him any other equipage. The mayor of the town came to receive him at the gate of the town, and watched him dismount from his donkey, with scandalized eyes. Some of the citizens were laughing around him.
“Monsieur the Mayor,” said...
hm.
Whenever I’m alone at home and sneeze, I always wonder what would happen if, out of nowhere, a voice suddenly said, “bless you.” And it freaks me out for a moment.

3. Updating Multi Media Ministry.

with the sheer beauty of the unexpected, the unimagined, the unseen
that he wants to write into my life today.
Re: Em.
Thank you! I’ve actually had this account for a while, but never used it until now.
To my readers (not that I have many :P), you absolutely MUST see Em’s Tumblr and her Flickr account. She’s got a real eye for taking beautiful, thought-provoking, and awe-inspiring images. You will be inspired, I guarantee.

Yes!! I am so glad you got a Tumblr account. I was...
I think I'll start a Tumblr.
Lately, I don’t seem to be able to link one thought to another in a coherent sentence.
Normally, I would see this as something that cripples me; threatens my future plans for becoming a writer.
But maybe this is God’s way of telling me to say less and listen more.
Whatever it is, I think I’ll try this microblogging thing out for a while.
